TRACLEX — Privacy Policy
The short version: TRACLEX does not collect any personal data. Every photo, note, and job you create stays on your own iPhone. I never see it, receive it, or upload it. There is no account and no cloud.
TRACLEX (“the app”) is published by Thalorix Labs LLC (“Thalorix Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles information.
1. Information we do NOT collect
We do not collect, receive, or have access to:
- Your name, email address, phone number, or mailing address
- Any account or login information — the app has no accounts and no login
- Your location (the app does not use GPS or location services)
- Your contacts
- Usage analytics, behavioral data, or advertising identifiers
- Crash reports or diagnostic data
- Your photos, notes, jobsite records, or anything else you put into the app
2. Camera, photos, and microphone
TRACLEX needs a few device permissions to do its job. These are used on your iPhone only — nothing they produce is sent to us.
- Camera — to take jobsite photos. This is the core of the app.
- Photo library — only when you choose to import a photo (for example, an after-photo). The app reads the photo you pick. It does not scan, copy, or browse the rest of your library.
- Microphone and speech recognition — only when you tap Talk to dictate a note. Your speech is turned into text on your device. We never receive your audio.
You can grant or revoke any of these permissions at any time in the iOS Settings app under TRACLEX. Photos and notes you capture are saved on your device as described below.
3. Information stored on your device only
To do its job, TRACLEX saves your work locally on your iPhone, using the device’s standard on-device storage. This may include:
- The projects (jobs) you create and their names
- The photos you capture or import, plus your markup, drawings, and saved crops
- Your notes — typed, or spoken notes that were transcribed into text on your device
- Your tags — trade/division, responsible business, and location (floor, building, room)
- Status states (incomplete, complete, verified), punch-list folders, and progress counts
- Your branding for PDF exports (your logo and contact block), if you add it
- Your free-export count
- A record of whether you have purchased TRACLEX Pro
This information never leaves your device. We cannot see it, retrieve it, or access it. It is stored only so the app can remember your work between uses, and it all works with zero signal. You can remove it at any time by deleting individual projects and photos inside the app, or by deleting the app. (Deleting the app does not affect your App Store purchase, which is tied to your Apple ID and can be restored.)
4. In-app purchases and payments
TRACLEX offers a one-time “TRACLEX Pro” purchase. We do not process payments and never see your payment details. All purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store using your Apple ID. Any information related to your purchase is collected and processed by Apple under Apple’s Privacy Policy. We receive only an anonymous confirmation from Apple that a purchase is valid — never your name, card number, or payment information.
5. No analytics, ads, or tracking
TRACLEX contains no advertising, no analytics or measurement tools, no tracking technologies, and no third-party software development kits (SDKs). We do not track you across apps or websites, and we do not allow anyone else to.
6. Children’s privacy
TRACLEX is a work tool built for adults on a jobsite. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects no personal information from children. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your region), and the app’s design makes such collection impossible.
7. Your privacy rights
Privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), and similar state and national laws give people rights to access, correct, delete, and opt out of the “sale” of their personal information. Because TRACLEX does not collect, store on any server, or share any personal information:
- There is no personal data of yours for us to access, provide, correct, or delete.
- We do not and will not sell or share your personal information.
- All of your in-app information is already under your sole control on your own device, and you can delete it at any time.
8. Data security
Because your information stays on your device and is never transmitted to us, it is protected by your device’s own security (such as your passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID). TRACLEX also includes its own app-level passcode and Face ID / Touch ID lock — available whether you’re on the free or paid version — with a lockout if someone keeps guessing wrong. We recommend keeping your device locked and up to date.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change how the app handles information, we will update this Privacy Policy and change the “Last updated” date above. Some features described as “coming soon” (such as AI assistance and team or subcontractor sharing) are not part of the current version. If a future version of the app ever collects or transmits data, we will update this policy and the app’s App Store privacy details before that version is released, so you always know what changed before it ships.
