Thalorix Labs — Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to use this site. If something here gets in your way, tell us and we will fix it or get you the information another way.
1. Our target
Thalorix Labs LLC builds the website at thalorixlabs.com (the “Site”) to target the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. Accessibility is ongoing work, not a finished state. We review the Site as it changes and fix what we find, and we do not claim that every part of it meets every criterion at every moment.
2. What we have done
- Structure. Pages use semantic HTML with a single top-level heading and an ordered heading outline, so screen readers can navigate by landmark and heading.
- Keyboard. Interactive controls are real buttons and links, reachable and operable from the keyboard, with a visible focus indicator. A “Skip to main content” link is the first thing you reach when you press Tab on any page.
- Labels. Interactive components and dialogs carry ARIA labelling. The “Report an Issue” dialog traps focus while open, closes with Escape, and returns focus to where you were.
- Images. Meaningful images have descriptive alt text; purely decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.
- Contrast. Text colors on the product pages and legal pages have been checked against the AA contrast thresholds (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text) against their rendered backgrounds.
- Motion. The Site respects your operating system’s “reduce motion” setting. When it is on, continuous animation stops and the Site falls back to still visuals.
3. Known limitations
- The Site uses significant animation and motion by design, including an interactive, physics-driven home page. That motion reduces automatically when your system asks for reduced motion (macOS: System Settings → Accessibility → Display → Reduce motion; iOS: Settings → Accessibility → Motion; Windows: Settings → Accessibility → Visual effects). If you find motion that does not stop, please tell us.
- The home page is a single-page application with custom visual controls. We test it with a keyboard, but assistive technologies may behave differently. If something does not work with yours, we want to know.
4. Found a barrier? Tell us
If any part of the Site is hard or impossible for you to use, email build@thalorixlabs.com and tell us which page and what happened. Thalorix Labs is a one-person shop, so your message goes straight to the person who built the Site. We will respond, we will work to fix the problem, and in the meantime we will get you the information you were looking for in another format — plain text by email, for example.
