TRACLEX turns a jobsite walk into a punch list before you’re off the ladder. Open the app and the camera’s already there: shoot the problem, circle it, say what’s wrong, tag the trade and the company on the hook, hit submit — and you’re back on the camera before the next thought leaves your head. Every shot becomes a clean PDF you can hand to an owner, a sub, or your own crew. No account, no login, works with zero signal.
Common questions
How do I start documenting a job?
Open the app and create a project for the job. Tap into it and you land on the camera. Shoot a problem, then mark it up — circle it, draw an arrow, add a note (type it, or tap Talk and say it). Tag the trade, the responsible company, and the location, then hit submit. The app saves it on your phone and drops you right back on the camera for the next one.
What’s free, and what’s Pro?
The free version is the whole tool, with a couple of limits so you can try it for real:
- Free — up to 2 projects, unlimited photos, 3 PDF exports (lifetime), Loop Mode, full markup, trade and location tagging, plus the passcode and Face ID / Touch ID lock. All on your phone, works offline.
- Pro — a one-time $9.99 purchase that removes the limits: unlimited projects and exports, capture-then-edit-later rapid shooting, Before/After Verified pairs with the gold badge, punch-list folders, filters by status/trade/company, responsible-business tagging, and your branding on every PDF.
Pro is a one-time payment — not a subscription. Pay once, it’s yours. Security (the passcode and Face ID / Touch ID lock) is in the free version too. I don’t put that behind a paywall.
I bought Pro on another device, or I reinstalled the app.
Open Settings inside the app and tap Restore Purchase. It’s free, works on any device, and takes a second. Your Pro purchase is tied to your Apple ID, so it survives reinstalls and new phones — just be signed in with the same Apple ID you bought it on.
Is my stuff private?
Yes. Every photo, note, and job stays on your iPhone. There’s no account, no cloud you didn’t ask for, and nothing gets uploaded behind your back. I can’t see it — that’s the whole point. See the Privacy Policy.
How do I delete my data?
It’s all on your phone, so you’re in control. Delete individual photos or whole projects inside the app, or delete the app to wipe everything at once. Deleting the app does not kill your Pro purchase — that’s tied to your Apple ID and can be restored.
What about AI and team sharing?
Both are on the way. AI that turns a rough field note into a clean title and issue list is coming soon, and live team / subcontractor sharing is rolling out at launch. They’re not in the current version yet — I’d rather ship them right than ship them early. When they land, you’ll know.
